Natural woman

The natural look
Kim is a lovely lady with a natural beauty and look that suites her. Here she's opted for muted colours, dressed to be stylish, comfortable and authentic. I took this street portrait in Ostend.

Till soon.

I ride my bicycle

Bicycle fashion, Ostend, Belgium
Another image from my series of people on bicycles photographed along the seafront in Ostend. I liked her scarf and small practical bicycle, a must have for the commuter with little space at home to store a full size bicycle.

Thanks,
Paul

Cycling fashion

Cyclist with shopping
Young lady cycling home with her latest fashion purchases.

It's interesting to see how casual and at home cyclists look in Belgium and Holland. In the UK they wear helmets  protective gear and high-vis clothing. They look determined and have the body language of someone involved in a gladiatorial sport.

I photographed a whole series of cyclists. More to follow soon.

Fashion strides forward

Lady on a mission
The Adolf Buylstraat is one of Ostend's most fashionable shopping streets. It's the place to go to see what's new and to be seen.

I am always fascinated by how the fashion sense varies in different neighbourhoods. There can be a completely different predominant style just a street or two away. There are definitely more fashionista's to be seen in the Adolf Buylstraat than in other streets in Ostend, Belgium.

More soon.

Thanks,
Paul

Happy together

Happy couple stroll along the seafront
Dressed casually but with continental style this happy couple chat and joke as they stroll along the seafront in Ostend, Belgium.

I spent just under an hour photographing people who caught my eye as they passed by, capturing an amazing range of styles, from the elegant to the downright strange. Tune in again soon to see more.

Thanks,
Paul
